What you need to know about adding a trusted retailer

From now on, domains that we have not "seen" before will require additional review from our team before they are allowed to be shared. We published a blog about these changes which you can read here, but the important part of this is that you simply need to submit a request for whatever domain you want to link to here, and our team will get it reviewed and updated within 24 to 48 hours.

Using a "Trusted Retailers" list allows us to better guarantee that no users are abusing Kit.co, while keeping our moderation costs low.

We only approve "retailers" ie. domains of storefronts that directly offer products to consumers. This means we will not approve link shortener domains like bit.ly or ow.ly, and we will similarly not approve domains for affiliate aggregators such as Clickbank, or Share-A-Sale.

While we would love to allow these types of destinations for aggregators, we are unable to verify the quality of their offerings and we can't ensure that they pose no harm to our users.

Retailers we trust/approve sell goods that aren't in conflict with our Community Guidelines, and provide an opportunity for customers to contact them directly for returns and support.

If you still have questions or concerns about getting approval for a specific retailer you use, reach out to us at help@kit.co and we'll be happy to visit with you.
